Back from camp...

Was back from camp one Tuesday, but was too lazy to update..



Well, this camp is the first and the last cadet training camp i attend...
most of you might have seen weixing's or boon tek's blogs bout the camp....
but i'm gonna go through the camp once again..

1st day of camp
_________________________________________________
Went to headquarters for Fitness proficiency course exam...
Missed the camp briefing...After coming back, saw my members struggling to build fire 2 cook their lunches...Helped them build the fire and even cooked a little....That nite Boon Tek conducted a lecture...Then we played a game called 'killer'...Hao Cherng, Weixing and I totally ruled the game...We sat side by side and were all killers...

2nd day of camp
_________________________________________________
Went for another proficiency exam in Nam Kheung...
Missed a session of footdrill....
Had take away lunch when our members were cooking...2nd day...they still not sure how to build a fire properly...Had a station game that was thought that very morning...which apparently everyone thought was boring...Our members can't make dinner again cause of the wheather...they had to eat biscuits and bread for dinner...

Later that night, we decided to have a fire drill...
This is what happened..Every member woke up late...2 committee members didn even wake up...members got a scolding from the committee..and all the members got wet and the committee got partially wet..But in the end, everyone felt happy....here's some photos to prove...

3rd day of camp
_________________________________________________

3rd day activities were basically quiet activities during the day because of the ongoing SPM exams...
Had a great footdrill session as the first agenda of the day. Then, watched our members cook lunch again...this time, they did not require any assistance from us..But it still took them way too long to cook....Had a VERY FUN fun time...
Then was my turn to give a lecture....
Did not prepare for it though...Turned out okay....
After the lecture, the members went to their dorms to prepare for the highlight of the camp.... the campfire....
6.30pm...Hao Cherng and went ahead to set up the campfire....
By 7pm, the firewood were running out and the members from SBU haven't arrived yet....
But still, the campfire was a big accomplishment for Hao Cherng and I..We are proud to say to say that we built the campfire without any kerosene, unlike previous years....

4th and last day of camp

Basically, the last day was all assessments and closing ceremony sort of thing....
Nothing much to talk about....

First of all, I have to say thanks to my committee members who did a lot to help in this camp....
After this camp, I learned that:
Weixing sleepwalks
Boon Tek gets stressed up easily
Hao Cherng is very serious at times
Sean Yee is a great actor
and Samuel is still the same Samuel everyone knows...the genius from the core...

To KLN6ACD members who went for this camp, Thank you for coming to this camp and sorry if we did anything that offended u guys during this camp....

Strange strange China.....

Another mail in my inbox...
Wow...My inbox is like a treasure chest now...
Full with interesting stuff....
This is what happened...A woman in China tried to suicide by jumping off a crane...

If you noticed, she had a plastic bag beside her all the while....

Yup...She actually prepared drinks to drink b4 she dies....
Then something else funny happened....She stood up and everybody thought she was going to jump when she suddenly took off her underwear....

She took off her underwear and started peeing....
Yup u heard me right...PEEING....Ppl looking at the scene from below must have had a really bad day as water started raining from above...
In the end...While she was concentrating on peeing...The rescue workers sneaked up on her and rescued her...
From the mail I got, the y quoted Bush who said China is truly a country full of miracles
One warning to potential suicidal people...
DO NOT DRINK WATER BEFORE TRYING TO SUICIDE

Wee...skipped school 2day to blog....
Guess wat i found in my e-mail inbox 2day....
U know how ppl walking past in the background while you're taking a pic can ruin the pic rite?
These pictures are very good examples of how background can really ruin photos....



Look at those ppl that are doing their 'business' on the background....
Imagine this...U took some pictures with some friends...
U gave ur camera to the photography shop...
And 2 hours later....
U get these ur picture filled with these ppl in the background making out or doing business....
Wat if ur friends asked for a copy of that pic?
Imagine it urself....
